recently, i have reading the book "jane eyre”.

although i forgot some details in the book, jane gave me deeply impression, i admire her very much. after that the teacher also told us to put the play in to a movie, and then we all can touch each hero’s soul in the book. the play it mainly tell us how jane is growing up when suffering from great difficulties and painless. what's more, it is impressed me that she still love her master even if he is blind at last due to rescue his mad wife. and i like the classic lines what jane said to mr. rochester :"do you think i can stay to become nothing to you? do you think i am an automaton?--a machine without feelings? and can bear to have my morsel of bread snatched from my lips, and my drop of living water dashed from my cup?

do you think, because i am poor, obscure, plain, and little, i am soulless and heartless? you think wrong!--i have as much soul as you,--and full as much heart! and if god had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, i should have made it as hard for you to leave me, as it is now for me to leave you. i am not talking to you now through the medium of custom, conventionalities, nor even of mortal flesh;--it is my spirit that addresses your spirit; just as if both had passed through the grave, and we stood at god's feet, equal,--as we are!" its so beautiful, jane is a girl who will never lose confidence in life and always sensible when handling with some motional problems. jane was huge in my heart. she can control her life and fate. she knew how to continue her life and she got it!

maybe after what she told me i have known that what love is and how to love and to be loved! the book is a book worth of reading, so all in all let’s enjoy it!

after a term’s reading, i finished ten more books, however, what impressed me most is jane austen and her two classical books.

in china maybe we all know liqingzhao, a great female poet whose poetry are full of the emotions from the bottom of her heart. however, in england the figure maybe is my most admirable authoress miss austen who can never have too many respects from the common people just like me. after read her two masterpieces of books pride and prejudice and sense and sensibility, i feel so proud of being female to see a world-famous authoress using her independent thoughts, humor words to show us the relationship between the so-called superiors and the lower-class.

at that time, neither in the east nor in the west, it is not so easy for a woman to become a great figure with literary reputation. in china li made it, while in england miss austen with her unique characteristic also realized her dream after a long struggle with the temporal points. it seems that all in jane’s life, she made a decision between sense and sensibility; once there was an old saying “affection is desirable, money is absolutely indispensable.” she resolutely chose her true love but not a splendid life or a comfortable home, what a pity she can not marry the one she did not really love even a beloved one, in her short life, she finished six famous books with her heart and soul but never married and stayed single for ever.

when reading pride and prejudice, i wondered why the oldest sister in the bennet family also was named jane, is there any possibility jane bennet is the soul of miss austen; and miss austen expected to realize all the pity which can not come true in her real life, so jane bennet was pictured as prefect as possible to be the best of the five sisters.

it’s a classical book with abundant description of everyone’s inner heart, especially the changes in their hearts. it can never deserve too many analyses for it was so wonderfully worked. one can say anything but ordinary to show our respects and admiration.

the man said“i do not have that talent of conversing easily with people i have never met before.” the woman said“we all don’t know him.” the book is full of the man’s pride and the woman’s prejudice in its lines and words.

from his pride we can see his confidence and persistence; whereas from his pride we can’t see his kindness and gentleness which he hid behind the surface.

from her prejudice we can see her firmness and treason; whereas from her prejudice we can’t see her expectation and worries which she hid behind the surface.

so it gave us a beginning of the story of pride and prejudice and led us to miss austen’s emotion world. so wonderful a book, so classical a story, so prefect a happy ending made it never a problem whether his pride or her prejudice counted, because of love, all can be neglected.

in the book once the proud mr dracy talked about the traits an accomplished woman must have, it needed a thorough knowledge of music, singing, dancing, drawing and modern languages, and besides this, a certain something in her manner of walking, in her voice and her behaviour. what’s more, something more solid, the improvement of her mind by wide reading. it could never be too strict for a common woman to follow.

about the attitudes to the marriage, charles dickens in the oliver twist also showed us the opinions of that day, he said if a man has ambitions to enter politics, then he marries a woman with a stain on her name, over though it’s not her fault, it might spoil his chances of success in his life. the society is cruel, people might use the knowledge of his wife’s doubtful birth against him, and against his children, too. and one day, he might begin to regret his marriage.

but love is so great that nothing can conquer it, and in the pride and prejudice we see the type of classical love, if we say in the realization we are so sorry to see the over more interest lead us to forget what love is, what a pity when love is not so pure as it should be, what a pity when love is used as a medium of exchange.

to my happiness the books inflected miss austen’s marriage view, it is wrong to get married for property, money and states. she objects to getting married for money and regarding the marriage as a trifling matter. she also points that the man and the woman’s emotion is the foundation of an ideal marriage.

after reading it, i feel that i just want to turn elizabeth who is ordinary but with special beauty, brave but with a little stubborn, though she is not a prefect woman our eyes, she does be a woman with prefect disadvantages. to the hero mr dracy, i feel that i just want to marry a gentleman like mr dracy who always puts his love deep in his heart, till the day he made sure that elizabeth was the one he wanted to spend the rest time of the live. under the handsome and gentle; proud and serious face, there was a kind heart full of love.

pride is just like a piece of beautiful clothes which is luxurious and untouchable. however, the expense of pride is loneliness. prejudice is just like the clouds floating in the sky with its freedom. however, the expense of prejudice is lost.

what i learnt from the books and jane austen is deeply printed in my mind and i should never forget elizabeth and mr dracy’s prefect love story, they usefully influenced each other. his mind might have been softened and his manners improved by her sociability, and she might have learnt from his greater judgment and knowledge of the world. just like a fairy tale, the price and princess have a happy live together, which i am looking forward.

many people in the world are trying to find a perfect companion.some of these may marry and not know what their new husband or wife is like.this kind of situation often leads to separation or hostility. other situations may develop between two friends that stem from jealousy, desire for revenge, uncaring parents, etc. emily bronts wuthering heights displays several characteristics of destructive relationships. three of these are uncaring parents, marriage without knowing the person, and jealousy.

uncaring or unsympathizing parents are shown throughout this story to be an element of destructive relationships. because heathcliff gained all the attention from mr. earnshaw, hindley became disassociated from his father. this separation continued until after mr. earnshaw had died.another example is between hindley and hareton. hindley became such a drunk and a gambler that he could not properly care for young hareton. this led to a separation between hareton and his father as well. one primary example of an uncaring parent is shown between heathcliff and his son linton.heathcliff did not even want his son for anything except enacting a part of his revenge. this is shown by lintons fear of heathcliff and heathcliffs enmity toward his son. linton even says "... my father threatened me, and i dread him - i dread him!"(244) to express his feeling about heathcliff.the hostility and separation between father and son in this book shows that uncaring parents can cause serious damage in relationships with their children.

this element of destructive behavior may stem from an unhappy marriage in which the husbands or wives dont know each other. this had happened between isabella and heathcliff. isabella did not really know heathcliff when she married him, but after she had married him she saw that heathcliff was not a gentleman at all. to declare her feelings she wrote "is heathcliff a man? if so, is he mad? and if not, is he a devil? i shant tell my reasons for making this inquiry; but i beseech you to explain, if you can, what i have married ..."(125). another example of this is when catherine married edgar linton. although she had been happy at the beginning of the marriage, she thought having parties all the time was going to be fun. yet, after a while, she became bored. she also realized that she loved heathcliff more than edgar and would always love heathcliff.this enlightenment created separation between edgar and catherine during the final hours of cathys life. an additional marriage which was made that was doomed was the one between catherine and linton. because this was a forced marriage, cathy had not yet learned all she could about linton.because she did not know until after the marriage that linton was selfish and inconsiderate, she became distressed and grew isolated in the house.these three failed marriages described in this novel show that knowing the person you will marry is very important.while these marriages took place, jealousy also took a hold in some relationships. one example of this is when mr. earnshaw starts to favor heathcliff over his own son, hindley. because of this, hindley becomes jealous of young heathcliff and sets out to make heathcliffs life a nightmare. hindleys jealousy becomes evident when he says ,"... be damned you beggarly interloper! and wheedle my father out of all he has; only afterwards show him what you are, imp of satan."(35). jealousy was also found very notably in the relationship between heathcliff and edgar linton.

the jealousy between them is expressed when heathcliff and edgar start a hostile conversation after cathys homecoming at christmas near the beginning of the book. as the story progresses these two become bitter enemies who will not speak to one another. another relationship which jealousy ruined is the one between hareton and linton. these two become jealous of each other over cathys affections. this relationship ends as hareton and linton hating each other. these relationships show that jealousy can ruin a relationship very quickly.

the jealousy, neglect, and unprepared nature of the many relationships in this book indicates that many of the relationships in this book have gone "sour". in spite of all these destructive elements one relationship may succeed. this is the one between cathy and hareton.

"jane eyre" is a very good book, is my favorite book.

"jane eyre" this book is the great writer charlotte bronte's famous work, is also a famous novel. in the novel, she joined the own life background, succeeded in shaping the jane eyre this have ideal, have ambition, have individual character of woman, you love.

after reading this book, appearance is ordinary to my heart as if added a confidence, because it is i understand the connotation of the rich more than the beauty of appearance.

i believe that the writing can bring women a lot of enlightenment, also, it can also become our younger generation on the life philosophy of revelation. it is not only the face of love, people should show the dignity, more let a person produce such a belief, that is in the life, autonomy, self-reliance, self-esteem makes people believe that their own ability, frequency more courage to strive for success and dignity.

"this is the best of times and the worst of times." the first sentence of a tale of two cities is quoted numerous times. but i guess the man who knows this sentence and the novel "tale of two cities" tells a story, and does not know why. if you want to understand the original meaning of this sentence, and why you write this classic sentence, it is natural to read the original.

"in short, that era is so similar to todays." this sentence actually explains the two questions of the above classic sentence: why do you say that, and to whom? this is one of the reasons why the novel was born, dickens hope that through such a novel, by describing the french revolution brought disaster to the people to express their own worry, warn the dangerous situation at the same time. a revolutionary history, two cities representing two countries, a few wind and rain people, constitute the main elements of the novel.

although the tale of a tale of two cities is a classic novel, it is considered to be the authors view of history because it explicitly states that the revolutionary background is the french revolution. and that is the focus of countless controversies over the novel. in the novel, dickens showed the cruelty of the aristocracy, but also showed the irrational destruction of the revolutionary masses. the revolution, he argued, was a kind of oppression that replaced another kind of oppression, and a bloodbath that was a direct and heavy one instead of another. a series of depictions of the storming of the bastille and of the mob - bloody, brutal, cunning, malevolent - is the most striking aspect of the novel.

dickens has devoted a great deal of ink to the evil of the mob, showing his abhorrence of the mob and, in a certain degree, the hatred of the revolution. of course, as a humanist, dickens also points out the cure for the world: love. this kind of love, embodied in the novel includes family love, love, friendship and such private feelings, also includes the abandonment of the aristocracy, the salvation of the kind of fraternity. among them, the most brilliant is the description of cartons love.

i like carton very much. in fact, carton was the embodiment of dickens, and dickens was the first to think of the man and the spirit of his body to conceive the novel. so, what was carton like? the novel describes: "the sun is sad and mournful, and the rising of sorrow, the sight unseen, is nothing worse than this man. he is talented and emotional, but he has no opportunity to show his talent. he cant do anything, and he cant make his own happiness. he knew his problem, but he resigned himself to his fate, and he wasted all his time, year after year.

it is a young man who has lost his talent and youth. the novel does not appear to have been explained, since he has appeared in the first place, and has not written much about his family background. personally, this man represents dickens himself, so he does not need to describe too much - the fall of carton comes from his frustration with the deteriorating society. he went up to the guillotine and said, "i see the evil of this age, and the evil of the former times, which has caused this evil, and i have gradually died for my sins."

pessimists - caton, was rejected by his friends meet with difficulties, in the love of a womans husband is about to be guillotined in when he suddenly appeared, be dont save the situation, do price with his own life, in the nick of time to make a replace plan to rescue his beloved womans husband.

it is not the love of christ, who has redeemed his sin and died. in fact, in the novel, carton did indeed say, in the biblical tone, "the resurrection is in me, the life is in me, and the man who believes in me, though dead, will rise again. and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. this is the medicine that dickens prescribed for "the worst of times", but it is, after all, an ideal. it is said that the tale of a tale of two cities is an immortal work without sidney. the existence and behavior of carton, the novel loses its value and brilliance.
