大家好,我是川大的大三学生,6月11日在成都考的雅思,最后成绩:总分7,听力7,阅读7,写作7,口语6,很高兴,10天,7分。一点都不牛,但对我来说已经相当不错了,我很满意啦:)

我总共计划了15天的全面复习,但中间有几天因为这样那样的事情而耽搁掉了,所以真正复习的时间只有10天。而在此之前我对雅思之知甚少,也完全没有心理准备说有一天会考雅思,但因为法国签证必须需要雅思成绩(我大四被交换去法国),没办法,逼上梁山了。

而在考雅思之前,我不得不承认我的英语水平很一般,甚至可以说比较差,四级第一次59,接下来一气之下就把四六级一起考了,四级75。5,六级69。考过一次bec中级,失败掉,只有d。不过在考雅思之前准备过一段时间toefl,水平有所提高。所以这次的雅思成绩对我来说已经相当满意了。

而在准备的阶段,我在3g下到了很多有用的资料,特别是听力机经,写作范文,口语机经等,对这次考试帮助相当大,所以我在拿到成绩后就想到来这里把自己的备考过程给大家分享一下,希望有那么一点点用处

先分为三项说吧:

听力:

这是我最头疼的地方,我bec的成绩里听力是weak:(而我在复习计划的前几天是听真题,做点分析,但做下来的效果很差,基本都是错20到15个,虽然天天在空闲的时候都挂着个mp3听真题和bbc,但真的进展很小。听力这玩意,确实不是一天两天的事情,是长时间积累的结果。所以在最后8天,我改变了策略,我在这里下了听力机经,发现其实版本并不多(没我想像的多,我想起码100来个version),而且每个section的主题很少有重复的,这就为牢固的记忆提供了保障,雅思英语《很高兴,10天,7分》。所以我用了7天,每天4个小时来背机经,然后最后一天把全部看了一遍,然后运气特别好,在考试的.时候正好遇到两个section(考的时候我都快笑出来了),而且另外两个部分我都听的不错,虽然最后一篇很有几个没听清楚。

建议:短期复习的朋友,在最后一段时间去背机经是很有用处的,因为听力这东西一定要经过长时间的锻炼(虽然背机经是一个很痛苦的过程),既然没有足够的时间,那就背机经当抱佛脚吧。

阅读:

阅读一直是我的强项,中国学生一般都是阅读很强哈,呵呵。在开始复习的前几天,我做了三套真题,分别错了9个,4个,3个,然后我就停下不做了,我想做真题主要是适应雅思考试的方式。接下来的日子,有空的话我就做做《雅思阅读真经》,但总共做了不到10篇。在最后一天做了一套真题,错了6个。考试的时候感觉还不错,但结果不是很理想,没有达到7。5的目标。

建议:1,即使是短期复习,也要尽力去适应雅思的方式,因为雅思很多是细节的题,所以要注意阅读的技巧(关于技巧,其他牛人已经说了很多了)

2,在最后复习阶段,一定要尽全力提高阅读速度(我也知道这不是说提高就提高的,但有这样的意识再加上一些对自己有帮助的方法,还是会有效果的)。我有个建议,大家在阅读的时候不要在心里默读,尽量做到一看到这个单词就反应过来它的意思,然后马上跳过;可以在复习的时候,每次做阅读的时候都这样训练。

写作:

写作我也一直不差,因为以前背过新概念的一些文章。雅思的作文其实想要提高也不是难事,我买了一本《雅思万能八分作文》,还不错,里面有很多句子值得借鉴;然后我看了一些从3g上下载的范文,又从里面挑了一些句子和表达;在最后一天的时候,把我挑的句子和表达都罗列在一起,大概也就50条左右,我背了一下,接着就计时练了一次,结果在规定时间内直接写超了,task1写了200多,task2写了350,当时把我吓了一跳,因为我怕考试的时候按这样的思路写这么多时间会不够。所以在考试的时候,我写的比较慢,控制好节奏,每句话都是想好了再下笔的,最后字数差不多。

建议:1,一定要看一定数目的

over the past few decades there has been an ongoing nature-versus-nurture debate about the causes of children’s personality. to the best of my knowledge, there are many influences on the development of a child’s personality, but the main causes are his genetic makeup, environment, and behavioral genetics.

there is evidence that both genetics and environment affect children’s personality. studies have shown that the tendency to acquire some personality characteristics – including activity levels, anxiety, aggression, and independence – can be inherited. although one’s genetic makeup does not determine one’s behavior, it provides a child strong tendency to behave in a particular way.

personality is also influenced by environment. thus, a child with particular personality characteristics is more likely to show them if the home environment reinforces them. for example, harshly punishing a child who has a genetically based tendency for aggression contributes further to the child’s aggression.

major advances have been made through behavioral genetics, the field concerned with the relative influence of genetic and environmental factors on individual behavior. for example, if we study the personalities of identical twins who have been separated since birth, we may find that the twins have the same genetic makeup but differ in the environments in which they are reared. similarities and differences can help reveal the relative importance of genetic and environmental influences.

to sum up, the shaping of a child’s personality is attributed mainly to the role of specific social experiences and environmental events, his genetic makeup as well as the behavioral genetics. (250 words)

this line chart shows the changes in the proportion of the elderly people in three countries from 1940 till today. moreover, it offers predictions for a period to 2040.

during the three score years, the usa generally outweighed sweden in terms of the proportion of those aged 65 and over. but the gaps between have never been remarkable. in stark contrast, sweden strikingly eclipsed japan in this aspect evidenced by the fact that in 1940 the proportion for the usa was about 9%, clearly higher than 5% for japan.

whereas japan experienced declines from 5% to 3% , both sweden and the usa climbed. put it in detail, by the year 1983, the figures have peaked at 15% and 13% in the usa and sweden respectively. noticeably, in 1997 the proportion in the usa was equal to that in sweden.

according to the forecast, from now on, all of the three countries will skyrocket although exceptions might happen. however, by 2040 the proportion will have peaked at 27%, 25%, and 23% in japan, sweden, and the usa respectively.

in sum, the three countries are different in the field under study.

those holding the view that art classes should not be compulsory might think that art consumes too much of students' time. fierce competitions students will face when applying for universities necessitate total devotion to academic subjects. college students who intend to take science as their major are even expected to be fluent in foreign languages now so that essays written by foreign scholars are not barriers in their academic pursuit. in other words, high school students are supposed to show higher levels of academic competence,which seemingly makes art unessential.

however, art classes are by no means only intended for entertainment. children even dabbling in art tend to be more creative in mind. those skilled in music or painting can interpret the world in a way that we cannot expect from a layman. this kind of ingenuity is also a rare quality constantly found in great scientists, whose contributions have served to create a totally new field for the latter generations. in his reply to a question about death, albert einstein considered his departure from the mortal world to be forever farewell to another great musician. with a sigh he answered "i cannot listen to mozart anymore". thus, can we simply regard art classes to be selective?

in conclusion, although stricter academic requirements are imposed on students, this cannot be an excuse for excluding art subjects from their curricula. whatever kind of art can stimulate and inspire students, paving way for their future academic attainment.

我一共考了3次ielts,第一次作文6,第二次作文5,第三次作文7(刚拿到的)。其中第二次作文复议过一次还是5。这3次分数和写作实战应该属于ielts作文的典型了。

其实,这三次的分数,都不是我预料的分数。看起来很奇怪。直到最后一次作文评分的出来,我才似乎发现了他们评分的规律。其实,抱怨鬼子不会评分也好,评分不准也好,但最终却是有一个评分的标准的。也是我亲身体会出来的经验了。摸清了鬼子评分的特点,愿意用我的经验给后来者考试写作给一点有用的建议或者说是所谓的捷径吧。其实,7分也是那么简单的。

第一次考的时候,那时候在新东方刚回来,在新东方模拟作文只写了4(中国人评的)。考试前我只写过两篇作文。考作文的时候我还在紧张,这一次纯粹是准备体会一下的。也没有写提纲,什么经验都没有。结果时间还不够,小作文写了30分钟,大作文只有30分钟,拿笔就写,也没打草稿。结果写到一半发现自己离题了!!agree or disagree我写成了discussion了!写到第3段还没有亮明观点。而且两个都谈了,明显走题严重!!于是,我急了。时间也不够了,我只好在第4段交代一下,我的观点是什么,这种写法很危险的。以前新东方何刚老师说过,结果我这个走题到一半的作文,在中间补救了一下,后面还算正常。以前老师说过,这种离题作文补救最多补救到6分。果然我的成绩下来是6分。开始我还以为只有4或5分,因为我确实走题了!虽然补救了,但是这要看gz的心情,他是看到了中间或结尾了,否则,看个开头,马上给个4或5,也没话说的。这样,第一次作文是以严重离题结束,但是后面经过补救,居然拿到了6分,内容可谓前面写的文不对题,后面才亮出观点。非常危险的写法。也是没办法的办法。如果你写到一半发现离题,不要怕,象我这样,你还可以得6分。

第二次考的时候我吸取教训,上51ielts上看了预测,于是v109被我压中了,这是我着重准备的范文,说真的,我也没准备别的了,也准备了几篇范文。我自己精心写了v109的作文,还修改了几遍。自己很满意了,以为7分至少可以得到,8分也没问题的.作文。考场上小作文我又写了30分钟,后面30分钟我把作文基本背下了,时间还多几分钟。但是,结果出来了,我这门认为考的最好的作文只得了5分·!非常惊讶!!我这篇绝对是按照经典模式写出来的经典范文。和新东方8分作文绝对可以比的!·难道只有5分,我非常郁闷!!结果去复议,复议下来还是5分。于是总结一下经验,最好不要准备作文!虽然你准备了一篇作文,但是明显能被gz看出来是准备过的!不要把gz当傻子!他们都是久经沙场的老考官了!什么作文没看过?所以认为你有准备抄袭之嫌疑,给你个5分!就是复议也不给你长分的!而且我那篇文章是按照范文的经典思路和结构写的。开始亮出观点,然后第一,第二,第三,最后总结。很经典的结构。这种作文gz其实是最讨厌的!!看到这种他们基本都不看你的语言了,你再好的语言!他们给你5分没商量,那天,我们一起准备范文的同学都只有5分!每个人都郁闷。愿意很简单,这种准备过的,经典结构的范文,gz一看就能看出来,而且他们也最讨厌!!

第三次考试前,我很郁闷,在第二次的3个月那天,刚好够时间。我中间一篇也没有写,我对写作基本都没信心了。而且一边存在侥幸等复议的作文成绩。结果上考场的时候,我由于手生了,小作文又写了30分钟,大作文也只有30分钟写。我开头仔细雕琢了一下,中间摆开了一些常规的结构,实际也是写一个有一个的观点,但是没有用经典结构,词语也换了。结尾由于时间不够,草草一句话结尾。(结尾好点估计就8分了)这篇作文结构完整,但是由于时间仓促,所以语言上除了开头,则后面的都很一般,应该只有6分的语言水平,而且没有准备过的,是临时写的,也没有什么好词语。尤其结尾,时间都没了,于是草草的等于把我的观点用一句话复述了一遍。结果,这篇我认为只有5-6分水平的作文,居然给了7分。这样一篇作文得了7分,而且在3个月内没有写过一篇作文的情况下,我已经满足了。7分作文来的如此之容易。

综合以上我的经验,我得出了以下一些结论,给后来者以参考:1。作文的开头一定要写好!好的开头是成功的一半。当然结尾也很重要。gz一般只有2分钟看一篇作文,你猜他会怎么看你作文?所以说开头很重要!我开头写了足足5-6行!!!2。引用一些数据和统计资料,我就造了一些数据和统计资料,什么教育部的啊,国际计算机协会的啊,都是我造的。结果没想到收效还不错。3。结构一定不要再照新东方范文那样了,也不要按照开头+第1+第2+第3+结尾的结构写,再那样写,绝对顶多5-6分!要学会换个方式表达,但是实际上是那样。4。语言上在开头和结尾要多注意,尤其开头,我认为开头语言也许比结尾语言更重要。所以希望大家在开头语言上雕琢一点。但是两者语言都很重要。而不要在文章中间刻意的追求语言,gz没时间欣赏你文章中间的语言,但是至少要写好点。不要刻意雕琢了。5。作文写离题了不要怕,中间转个弯,补救一下。写下去,6分还是有希望的。6。平时不要练太多作文!!练多了会让你陷入死的套路模式!一点好处都没有!·我第一次到第三次考作文的期间,3次考试期间练习的一共不过7-8篇,特别第3次,考前3个月赌气一篇也没写,还拿了7。不要怕。相信自己,。30分钟内完成7分大作文还是可以的!7。考前1天可以看看作文词汇,语言丰富一点还是有好处的。但是切记,不要再用范文上的那些套路词语了!ielts考官已经看腻了那些了/8。要知道,和你一起竞争的都是一个考场的人。你的作文和他们的出众不同的话就会赢得考官的青睐!从而分会高起来!~所以摆脱常规思路和结构,往往有意想不到的收获。9。要相信自己,不要有太多的词汇量(四级词汇够了),好好写,写出自己的个性和特点,新颖一点,放开写。四级词汇的水平写出7分作文还是很容易的事情!10。特别提醒,不要迷信机警!!按照机警准备只会让你陷入套路和常人环节!!

最后说一句,功底还是要准备的,不知道大家写作功底怎么样。我能在3个月不写一篇作文的情况上在在考场上30分钟完成一篇作文。其实也是对英语的兴趣,期间,我准备过21世纪的英文演讲赛,也有点帮助可能。所以,希望大家如果有时间的话,不要为了考试而考试。如果你写作速度和功底还可以的话,完全可以象我这样3个月不写一篇作文而上考场。

undoubtedly, the old buildings can reflect our traditional culture and should be protected and built. they are the houses where the ancient people lived. by appreciating these old buildings, we can have a better understanding of our ancient culture and history.

however, i do not agree that all the new buildings should be built in traditional styles. first of all, a city’s culture identity consists of the past culture and the modern culture. while past culture can be represented by the traditional buildings, modern culture should be reflected by modern buildings. if all the new buildings are built in traditional styles, the modern culture may be lost in the city. secondly, the style of the new building should be decided by a lot of factors such as location, function, and so on. for instance, it is impossible for us to build a modern shopping mall into traditional style, because there are a lot of famous brands inside. thirdly, modern buildings can accommodate more people than traditional buildings, which can meet the increasing population.

therefore, i agree that we should build some old buildings, but we should not build all the buildings into traditional styles. we should consider a lot of aspects before we make the final decision.
